Today I have a secret to share with everyone. It is your decision if you want to keep it or not, but I swear this one you'll save.
Every girl loves high-end fashion designers, but does she actually want to pay that outrageous price that comes along with it? NOT THIS GIRL. Since I am balling on a budget, I have found several ways to afford the designers I like. Sorry I do not want to pay full-price for a purse or a pair of shoes that is as much as my monthly mortgage payment. Yea, no thanks. Trust me...there have been times when I almost caved in and bought a designer bag for the actual price, but then I thought "what would be the repercussion of buying this bag if my husband found out?" Oh wait, a divorce.
So here is my secret- it is called Rue La La, The OutNet and Bluefly. All three of these websites are essential for shopping the best brands at up to 70% off. I mean c'mon…you cannot beat that!
First I would like to discuss jeans. I love designer jeans for three reasons- 1.) I am 5'8 so the inseam is always a good length for me 2.) they have better quality of material so they last longer without fading or wearing out and 3.) the sizing is more accurate. I fondly remember my first pair of designer jeans: J Brand cigarette cut in a dark indigo wash. They fit my booty like a glove. And guess what? I bought those jeans four years ago and still wear them today. My faves are J Brand, AG (Adriano Goldschmied), Paige and Hudson. Why? Because they accentuate and flatter my curves so I gravitate towards those brands. Thanks to Bluefly, I can get a pair of jeans I like for little to nothing. HALLELUJAH!! The only downfall to this website is that the jeans are quickly purchased. I suggest you go to a local boutique that carries high-end designer jeans and try on several until you find the right fit. Once you know the style, cut, and brand you like then shop for less. (Coming Soon: How to Find the Right Fit for Your Figure)

Let's talk about bags. A designer purse can make your outfit look like a million bucks. It can also give off a vibe that you are a consumer of finer things in life. However, no one needs to know how much you actually paid for that purse, right? The OutNet is an excellent source to use when it comes to buying must-have designer bags. This website can offered up to 50% off of labels like Valentino, Alexander Wang, Rebecca Minkoff, plus a lot more.
Rue La La is another source that can help you find high-end bags for a lower price. This flash sale site can score you a staggering variety of designer bags for less- designers that include Celine, Fendi, Burberry, Stella McCartney, and Prada. Right now they have Saint Laurent bags for 30% off!! The number one reason I like Rue La La is because you receive daily emails about what will be sold that day- all sales start at 10 am. Also, you can see upcoming deals and add them to your calendar.
Now to my favorite topic: shoes. As you know designer shoes are built to last. They have high-quality material and more longevity, which makes them so superior. Every girl needs at least one pair of designer shoes in her closet. My number one rule when it comes to buying high-end shoes is sticking to the classic looks instead of the statement/trendy styles. That way you know you will wear them more often and you can keep them around for many years to come. Also, keep your budget in mind. It is always good to know what you can afford ahead of time. No one wants to eat PB and J for the rest of the month because you drop some stacks on a pair of shoes. So this is why you need to shop with The OutNet and Rue La La because they will provide you with some steals, girlfriend. Both websites offer 40% or more off of labels that include Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo. The OutNet currently has Balmain ankle boots for $634 instead of $1626- that is 61% off the original price. You can spot celebrities like Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, Kate Moss, plus tons more wearing the latest designs by Balmain.
If you like to purchase designer clothing for less then all three of these websites offer deals on apparel, too.
Now that you know where to buy high-end designers for less, I bet you feel like you gained some powerful knowledge after reading this blog. Aren't you glad I didn't take this one to the grave? Happy shopping!
